Erik J. Stratman, MD
Erik Stratman MD is a dermatologist, Director of the Division of Education for Marshfield Clinic in Marshfield, Wisconsin, and the Associate Dean for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health – Marshfield Campus. Dr. Stratman received his undergraduate mechanical engineering and medical degrees from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He completed residency training in dermatology at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His primary interests are dermatology education and adult learning theory. He is creator of the Dermatology Integrative Competency Curriculum for resident education, a web-based, problem-based learning curriculum. In 2004, his teaching and evaluation innovations led to his induction as a Fellow in the Teaching Academy at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Stratman currently serves as the Chairman for the Council on Education for the American Academy of Dermatology.
